Job Description:

We’re seeking a skilled researcher and writer to create gripping, in-depth stories for our YouTube true crime channel. Your focus will be on cases involving mothers who commit serious crimes, crafting engaging, fact-based narratives that captivate true crime enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research from reliable sources like police reports, court documents, news articles, and interviews.
- Write suspenseful, well-structured stories (min. 3,000 words) with psychological insights and dramatic storytelling.
- Ensure empathy for victims and structure stories with twists and cliffhangers to maintain audience engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the host to match the tone and vision, incorporating feedback as needed.

Requirements:
- Strong research skills, including attention to detail and the ability to cross-reference sources.
- Creative writing with the ability to build suspense and evoke emotion.
- Understanding of criminal psychology and compassion for victims.
- Excellent organization, with clear story structure and flow.
- Familiarity with true crime storytelling and audience engagement.

Pay: $100 per story
