Job Description:

I am seeking a detail-oriented freelancer to assist with merging and cleaning up five separate email lists from different platforms. The goal is to create a single, organized list that eliminates duplicates and ensures accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience with data management and be comfortable using spreadsheet tools. If you have a keen eye for detail and can work efficiently, I would love to hear from you! Specific tasks:

0) Review separate lists to understand the structure, format, and fields (e.g., names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.).
1) Identify any common identifiers across lists for merging (e.g., email addresses as unique keys).
2) Clarify how duplicates should be identified (e.g., identical email addresses, similar names with minor variations).
3) Determine the hierarchy of lists for preserving the "best information" (e.g., prioritize the most recent or complete list).
4) Set rules for handling conflicting data across lists (e.g., which fields take precedence).
5) Standardize headers/fields (e.g., ensure all lists use the same naming conventions for "Email" or "First Name").
6) Add missing fields where necessary to align the datasets.
7) Use tools or functions (e.g., Excel’s Remove Duplicates, Python scripts, or database queries) to identify and merge duplicate entries.
8) For duplicate entries, combine complementary information (e.g., one entry has a phone number while another has an address).
9) Cross-reference the lists with a "do not disturb" or "unsubscribe" list and properly tag these entries in the final merged list.
10) Convert all caps or mixed formatting entries to the consistent casing (e.g., "JOHN DOE" → "John Doe").
11) Ensure consistent formats for phone numbers, dates, and other fields (e.g., (123) NNN-NNNN → NNN-NNNNN).
12) Flag entries with incomplete information.
13) Flag entries with suspicious information (e.g., missing "@" in emails). Or "test"
